LAMBS!!!

Photos tomorrow Promise!

The sheep were missing today and I could catch a glimpse from time to time so I knew there was a fence panel down somewhere and they were staying on our property so I let them range…

About 3 PM I decided to load the Gator with puppies and Drover and go for an outing…With a walkabout in mind for the puppies. We went to find and fix the fence..What we found was surprising! Seems a deer (had to have been a deer) Had hit the fence bent it 2 feet inward and mush have entangled it self  for there was hair and blood…And the fence panel was torn completely down! Wow!

The flock was just below the dam and as I looked them over I saw two small black things not much larger than my puppies! The Churrio Ewe with 3 horns had given birth to twin GIRLS! Wooo Who!!! I like that! They have a white dot on their heads! They had not been born too long and I left them alone for a couple of hours.

We all went back to the house and I unloaded puppies .

Latter Drover and I went down and got the sheep back up through the hole they had escaped through.

What a good job he did ! He did not bother the Ewe and her lambs but was able to move her back thru the hole in the fence!

I just checked on them and they are all fine. Tomorrow I will put her and the lambs in the barn for a few days. But it looks like the sheep are starting to have lambs! Drover and one of the puppies walked down with me. What smart brave puppies I have! Tonight they all stay on the carport! They are big dogs now!
