Simple Country Pleasures…

Good friends…Beautiful weather…Sheep…Great Herding dogs, a few yard chairs, tea, soda, and Butterfinger candy bar (my current food obsession) and you have the makings of a great Saturday afternoon!

We worked the lambs today.

Drover does the stock handling for us…and we work our young started dogs on sheep…

We have all come a long way in a short period of time…

Elvis the Cardigan Corgi and Gerry his person are fetching the sheep nicely and working on away and come bye…

Tosha and Reina are working on away and come bye and down.

KAT Ballou is fetching well and knows away and come bye and is learning down and she knows out, and is learning look back. I am very pleased with KAT…

Rumor aka Scooter or Pup (who is heading to Cape Code in a few weeks) is doing nicely and is very interested in working. He is a bit of a driving type dog…and has his Grandma Abilene’s ways with the stock as well as Drover…He will make his new people very happy I am sure!

I am so proud of my friends and their progress…They are doing so well, and working hard and becoming a team with their dogs!

Graham came with Tosha today and my what a nice handsome smart young man he is becoming! So helpful and he drove the JD Gator all over the place for me. He also put the sheep out!

After the herding work we went to Toshas and trimmed bushes…And then last but not least I played a basketball game with Graham called CAT…;-) Graham beat me but then there is all ways tomorrow!

What a wonderful Spring day in Jackson Creek… I am so very blessed to live here and have such wonderful friends!
